Episode 22 - How Growth Feels
Monday Feb 15, 2021
Monday Feb 15, 2021
In this episode, I reflect on the last few episodes and the stories of growth. I talk about what growth really feels like.
While it's always inspiring to hear about other people's growth journeys, to know how it feels when YOU are in it is helpful.
It doesn't necessarily make it easier, but it does help being aware of how it feels.
Growth is disorienting, it's uncomfortable and it is being, doing and having something new that you've never been, done or had before.
I share some of my experiences of growth I've had and the feelings associated with them. Listen in and hear how you can break through and expand your own comfort zone.

Episode 17 - Growing a company through company culture
Monday Jan 11, 2021
Monday Jan 11, 2021
One of the most impactful ways to grow a company and stand out from your competitors in a commoditized world is to be very intentional about company culture.
Most CEOs say that it's the most important thing that impacts the bottom line results of the company.
Yet so many don't really know how to create an intentionally designed company culture.
In this episode, I share two steps of an eight step model that world class organizations use to create an intentional and people focused culture.

Episode 15 - How to futureproof any company: Lessons from Emerging Leaders
Monday Dec 28, 2020
Monday Dec 28, 2020
The future of any company depends on the people that make it up. That's especially true where there are leaders who have tons of potential and the ability to have that potential expressed.
In this episode, Dr. Kimberly Hambrick and I discuss some of the lessons we heard from participants in the Emerging Leader Inner Circle Virtual Summit held in December 2020.
There are many ways that leaders can grow and one of the ways Dr. Hambrick and I have created is a group environment called the Emerging Leader Inner Circle.
Every year, we collaborate to help these leaders grow in a virtual mastermind and teaching environment. We then bring them together in a summit. This year it was virtual and we heard from several members who shared some of their greatest lessons this year.
We share these with you as we summarize them together in this conversation.
Dr. Kimberly Hambrick has a podcast of her own called The Cannoli Coach and you can check it out here: https://www.spreaker.com/show/the-cannoli-coach

Episode 14 - Reflections on Lessons I Learned In My Own Growth
Monday Dec 21, 2020
Monday Dec 21, 2020
This year has been a difficult one all the way around.
I know that many want to move past it as quickly as possible but growth can only happen when we look back and reflect on the lessons we've learned so that we can apply them to our future.
In this episode, I think through the different seasons of the year and what I experienced and learned throughout it.
I ask some questions for you to consider at the end of the episode and would love to hear your feedback.
Send me your thoughts on them at admin@davidmcglennen.com
Enjoy your holiday season!
